A Nationally Certified Teacher of Music, Sara Tutland has enjoyed teaching for over 25 years. Her students range in age from 6 to 70+.
She teachers beginners, advanced students, professionals, girls, boys, moms, dads, grandmothers, doctors, engineers, nurses, administrators, teachers, people who are coming back to playing after years of not playing, people wanting to try something new for fun, and many more.
She is skilled in developing confidence, creative problem solving, finding the right music and exercises for each student, helping each student find their best tone, helping students solve technical problems, and helping students prepare for tests, auditions, competitions, and concerts.
Students and teacher work together on tone development, articulation, breathing techniques and breath control, vibrato, rhythm and counting, playing in tune, finger technique, practice techniques, and presentation.
